There's a little bit of tweeking I can do with the suspenders, but not much. I don't want to do anything modern to it so I'm gonna have to deal with what I've got.

I have a rough idea what the car makes, but take 401 cubes, 10.5:1 compression, 15lbs of boost, and 117 octane race fuel and you get ALOT. hahaha...the bottom end is pretty stout with forged I beam rods and steel crank....so I hope it holds up. We will see soon enough. When I do finally run the Bird, I'm not trying to win any HERO awards right away.....this thing is going to be more than a handfull, and I'm gonna take it pretty easy til it's dialed in.

I'm game for burger, fries and a MILKSHAKE. Coke makes me burp.

Ahh yes, now the real fun starts..trying to tune the beast. I sincerely hope you have loads of fun with that setup. I enjoyed my Hilborn injection while I was running the car in my avatar. There is no throttle response like that from mechanical injection. Hopefully I'll see your car this summer.

The suckiest part of mechanical injection is that you have to change the pill every time the air density changes. Have you looked into Kinsler products? They have a ten pill Dial-A-Jet. Instead of removing and reinstalling pills you just turn a knob to change jetting. I used it and it was slick as dog snot.

 

Well that video gave me the chills. Hope there will be some more video from Vegas and from Eagle Field. Sounds just great.
