    Probably a Wildcat as there were no Manual transmission 61-66 Rivieras.

    Just my opinion... but
    I think painting it takes something away from the whole effect. I say this of course not ever seeing it up close or knowing the planned design.

    Zman. I have seen a FACTORY 4 speed 63 Riviera at Back to the 50s. Talked to the owner and evidently was a special order car. Was pretty cool.

    There are a couple that people have done that look factory, but Buick seems to think they were all automatics :rolleyes: Who knows what a dealer has done.

    Even if they did make a manual tranmission Riviera the bellhousing would probably be the same as the Wildcat etc from that year. Do you have a casting number off of it? 1172140? or a picture of it?
