Gasser gets the blues!

    Just got my 57 gasser painted. Very difficult to decide on a color but this is it.

    It's PPG cobalt blue. Will have white interior w D 100 seats.

    That color looks like my friends 2004 ford mustang cobra, i think its cobalt also.

    Very nice color choice!! Definately going to "POP!" against the white!

    Are you going to do any vintage lettering? Class designation or anything? That thing just screams gold leaf lettering to me.

    awesome color, did I see the chassis in the Socal shop in june...if so, it looked killer, and I took a few pics of it...

    Thanks everyone. Yes the car was at the So-Cal open house in June. Jimmy Shine did the chassis fab. I've included some chassis pics. The motor is a 327 60 over with a Pete Jackson gear drive and solid lifters. Edelbrock X-1 intake and 4:56 gear. It made 404 on the dyno.

    I seen this chassis in person and I am a man without words it is awesome, very very nicely done i cannot wait to see the end product.

    As a Gasser owner be wanna be, I gotta say that is just as close to being perfect as I have seen in a long time! Way to go!

    Yes Im going to do the vintage lettering. I may go with silver leaf orlight grey with a white outline, like 554.
