gasser in progress

    I think this is my first post, although been reading for quite a while. I have been working on a 56 chevy 2dr ht gasser for over a year now. Had some fun last week with it at Sacramento Raceway, working out the bugs. Its a blown 454, lenco 5spd, and course a straight axle up front, 57 olds rear. I found out quickly that I need a taller gear, as its tongue was hanging out at 800 ft. Been doing this stuff for 40 years, and will continue as long as its fun./al

    Welcome! Got any pics of the '56? I'd love to see it...I've got a '40 Plymouth with a 400 Pontiac and a '62 Pontiac posi rear...gotta love those Pontiac and Olds rears, definately tough stuff...
