Marion County Int'l Raceway, home of the July 15-17 GASSER Nationals, is prepped, painted and ready for a 3-day weekend of racing. This morning we did a display at Marion's Applebee's restaurant with a '41 Willys and '56 Chevy Gassers. Both were amazing barn finds from 1969 and 1961 respectively. This evening we're having an Early Bird Party at Buffalo Wild Wings from 6-10pm. Gassers will be lined up in front and we're going to burn the place down with a Gasser-style CACKLEFEST. Weather Report: Perfect! Scattered clouds floating in a blue sky above a track surrounded by fields of corn sway in a cool breeze. The weekend is for more of the same. The event is open to all pre-73 cars. You don't have to have a Gasser to race. The swap meet guys are already moving in. Nothing can be sold until we officially open tomorrow morning. FREE FRIDAY BBQ! We're roasting a 250lb pig all day tomorrow for our Free BBQ party. It's how we say thanks for your support. It'll be delicous and a dinner you won't want to miss. If you have any questions, call me: 520-529-1423 Cell phone coverage is a bit spotty here at this 'Field of Dreams' racetrack, but I promise to get back to you as soon as I can. THANKS!
