I actually kinda liked this thing, I was laughing my *** off the first time I saw it? My brother has owned a few modified Chevy pu's that saw some street action, he went nuts when he saw it but it's sure as HELL no g***er! And as a guy who has done some street racing for money, it ain't no sleeper either. But it is a fun side show.

It's a novelty, NOT a race car. I don't really CARE, but it is not a race car, it's a silly clapped out pickup with a freakin canopy on it, it just has a huge engine and ch***is work.
I was at Palmdale once for a fairly large bracket race. A high school kid in his Mom's Volare was winning round after round, went to the final! Red lighted! EVERYONE was rooting for him, but it sure wasn't because we thought the car was cool!
Destruction derbies are fun too! Cmon' Man.

 

No argument with that. Well, except the demo derby part, I hate those.

 

George, I knew someone who had one of those 383 hemi 6 packs, but it was also an SOHC & fuel injected! Boy did this thread get derailed.

 

I knew that guy! Found it in a field, rusted out, put a pickup bed on it! Painted it with primer and Prang watercolers! It was altered wheelbase, gutted interior, ran AAB/GSSAA! Set the record too! Ran nitro and a SECRET additive!
