Building a 50 Chevrolet Deluxe G***er, has tube axle, transverse spring, and hairpins. I bought the car with this setup, but previous owner never finished steering. Has Ford spindles, with steering arms on the bottom and to the rear. I know I need to be running a cross steer setup, just wondering if I could get by with my original steering box, a push/pull type, or if there is a there an easier method. Any help would be appreciated.
Actually you probably could if you make use of the stock bellcrank. Or a Vega style box direct to the right hand steering arm.
