Is there a decent place to find this book online? I'd like a copy and searched on Amazon and it's either around 100 or over 700. I've added this to my Christmas list and having trouble finding it locally and checked in the for sale forums. If I could find a copy in a library i'd probably take it home and copy it. Or does anyone have a copy I could borrow with a deposit if needed?
That and books on similar subjects are through the roof on Amazon. I had a few on a "wish list" so I could remember the titles....Each time I look at the list, the prices about double. That being said...I'm sure there are still some out there in book stores at their list price. I saw "Gasser Wars" a couple of years ago in a Books A Million store, and thought it was too expensive, and decided to wait for it to make it to the discount table. If I had only known! You might try getting a local book store to order one. They might get them at list from a wharehouse or publisher.
This has got to be a misprint. I saw one at Barnes and Noble for $40. Otherwise I would probably sell mine for $250!! ha ha
Half.com has the hardback around $71 and the softback $17. Or just wait till after Christmas when the prices come down.
People can ask whatever they want for them. I've seen a little book on Florida history, that's not much more than a pamphlet, that sells for three or four dollars all the time online, that some clown is asking $100 for on Amazon and Ebay. That doesn't mean anyone is stupid enough to pay that much for any of them.
I have been looking for this book for months and finally found one under $100.00 Go to "yearone.com" and search for "BF320" and its only $22.95 plus shipping. The picture on the website shows a 41 Willys on the cover but I just got the book in the mail and its got the 33 willys Malco gasser on the cover(softcover)
