Well, we all knew that! It would be so cool to see the two Fairlanes line up though. I'll get you some better pics next time I go see him.
The deleted headlights, moulded hoodscoop, and lack of flames really make the car look more like a racer. I agree with the masses that radiused rear wheelwells and some wider steel wheels supporting some big meats would really add to the look. I could also see a hood mounted tach and maybe a four hoodpin setup to at least make it look like a lift-off fiberglass hood, or ditch the hinges and make it full-on lift off. I also think a headrest on a rollbar would be better than a highback bucket but that's minor. Everything you changed so far has been an improvement.
I must say it looks like a real deal now without the flames subtle is right. small chevy , cheaper faster easy to fit in a ford and cheaper horsepower as well as it'll piss off the ford guys hehe..........I like it congrats and stay on the path you are on it is the right one for that car. and the pickup i especially like the air intake on it.... the got wood brand
Looks much better-- more like a real race car. Have you considered a couple of period-correct stickers (STP, wynns, etc...) in the quarter windows? You might also want to check out Don Montgomery's "Supercharged Gas Coupes" for more ideas.
