So it's 1:30 Am and I can't sleep. Laying in bed thinking about this post. Keeps my mind off more serious matters at hand and relaxes me. I'm thinking to myself , what would I call my gasser if I ever built one? I like the thought of the owners names but that's not original enough. Then it hits me,sorta the same thing but different. How about fake names or nicknames. Here's the example that came to me out of the darkness and caused me to get back up and on the HAMB.

ahhhhh, BYRD! one of my favorite groups from times before my birth carried such a name...it's gonna be a gasser...it has to be eight miles high But, if it is, it might be hard to turn turn turn when you try to miss Mr. tambourine man at the end of the strip...0

I had a friend whose last name was Byrd in High School....he was into mini trucks. I suggested that he paint his nissan black instead of the silver, and instead of flourescent green stick on graphics, he should paint what looked like a very large bird (as in Pterodactyl sized) took a dump in front of him at 90 mph on the front of his truck....he didnt...I eventually bought the 4" blocks and put them under an old ford courier truck which incidentally didnt have the front end lowered...closest thing to a Gasser I have owned...

man, it sounds like a great project, cant wait to see photos of it...

only suggestions for names I had were either too lame or already suggested. Orange Crate HAS been done to death, great name, great car, but already taken and used and abused over and over and over....

I like Rocky's idea....
