Check with these guys http://www.bostonsparks.com/ or do a google search for " boston fire buffs" see if you can find a historian. Fires like that should stand out in their memory.

    George,
You missed the best Bone's run yet. The weather was the star this year. Good turnout and the best route yet. Tee shirt weather to boot. See you at garage night in February....

John, Hope you can make it...
Yes, the roadster is coming to Norwood to get fixed. I'll be calling soon to set up a drop off date. I arranged to hold off fixing it until the season is over. The gathering is going to be the end of my season. I've managed to put on over 5,000 miles this year after the accident. The best year since I built it except for the crash. After the gathering, I'm pulling the engine and trans to do some preventative maint and a re-paint. Hope to have all done and assembled in time for some winter driving. Can't stand not to have it in running shape all of the time.

    Dan,
We stopped in Bennington and asked for you on Saturday, but they said there wasn't anyone "up stairs". It was a great run. I'll be posting pictures here in a day or so.
Looking forward to seeing you on the 21st.

The Henderson 4 Midget project is coming along with me. Found out the fire it was in happened in the Boston area in the early 1970's. Now the push is on to trace its history from 1925-75. :)

Screw that, tow your new boat over. First fill it up with all of your leftover parts and set up a spot to sell that junk that the landfill won't take. :)
    See you there...

By all means, bring your Model A. It won't be the only one there.

The show features old race cars of all types. All hot rods are welcome as well as restored antiques auto's.

This show is co-sponsered by the Early Ford V8 Club of Cape Cod.

Got neat stuff you want to sell or just show-off, bring that along as well. No additional fee for selling parts.

I'll be surprised if you take it back home with you. Unless you plan to retire on the profit. :)

Yup, that's me. Your trans is sitting in there--with an S-10 tailshaft--attached to the motor and crossmember, but not to a driveshaft. Bodywork is 80% done, front and rear suspension is done, and I'm working on hanging pedals and installing the gas tank right now. I put the right sized rims and tires on it a couple weeks ago, so it's looking less like a 4x4. I should be driving it now, but I'm the slowest fabricator in the world. Hopefully I'll see you on Saturday--I may even ask you a couple questions about the way you had the hydraulic cylinder set up on that clutch too...

I don't have a trailer, and it's kinda half-together right now anyway. I need those fenders on to hide my late model front suspension and four wheel disc brakes...
