I have in my 56 chevy truck the stock gauge cluster in which I would like to keep other then putting after market one.It also has a complete motor swap and I know I could just put a seperate gauge cluster for these but I would really like to get these dummy switches work .My question is the fuel and oil pressure work but the amp and temp does not what would I need to do to hook these up .Does the Amp gauge hook up as any other amp gauge would and does Temp gauge need a special sender or can I just a normal say Auto meter electric sender and have it work ?Thanks

  3. If your running a stock generator the amp gauge can be used. The temp gauge is electric if V 8 I think. The temp gauge can be replace with an electric with no problem. I think the 56 car is real close.
