Technical gauge or something else issue

    so runs fine at 180 degrees like thermoset thats in it . then next thing i know were at 220 the 240 then pushing 260. shut it off fans working fine no steam no fluids anywhere not a drop coming out of over flow .got it home ran fine heads intake hot upper lower hose hot but nothing anything different than normal. All said done not a drip out of it when i check on it this morning. Being a t gets plenty of air .

    do you have one of those handy Infrared Temperature guns, to see what temperatures are at various places on the engine?

    But still, if you can post some closer up pictures of the engine and show where the temp gauge sender is located, etc, maybe we could get a better idea of what might be going on.
     
  3. Did the temp push up while idling? Or going down the highway? Or driving around town?

    New build?
    Like mention above there's gonna be a quite a few things that need to be checked ,
    Maybe just air pocket..
    Blower make heat ,,
    That Rad looks small in pic .
    My set up walker Z ,full size 32 ,setting still runs
    200-215 , hot & humid out
    Down road 190ish with few extra temp gauges,,
    Cool summer nights 180 ish down the road ,
