I have a 1950 Ford speedometer gauge cluster.
Is there a company that would convert amp
    Gauge to a volt meter?
Also I need resistance values for other gauges.
    Thank you for your time.

  3. @BJR addressed the gas gauge. I ***ume you are also referring to the temperature, oil pressure, and amp gauge. Ford in those years used King Seeley gauges and senders. The gauge cluster was supplied by 6V. Easy way to keep it 6V is to use the Ford gauge voltage reducer that they used up into the 70s. For the temperature gauge to read correctly, try to find a flathead Ford King Seeley sender, which reads about 10 ohms cold. The oil pressure sender can be the Ford sender for a gauge (I think I used 70s applications). I am not aware of anyone who converts the amp gauge. You may have to run a separate volt meter.

I had Ron Beliles at Williams Instruments in Chester Ark do the cluster on my 53 Dodge p.u. He converted the amp to volts, new capillary tube on the water temp, redid fuel gauge, and refaced all of them. Does great work but get in line. For speedometers use only Rusty at Speedometer Sevices.
