Well I finally got the new 560/15 front tires in yesterday. I got them mounted and balenced....It was the most intence test drive ever. Knowing how bad the front end would break up before at high speeds. *** pukered and ****ed to the seat, I had to go for it...A couple short low speed hits and it seemed ok. So it was on......White knuckles clenched and let it go!!!.....I ran the GB as fast as it been since the build....NO bouncing NO shimmy, NO problems!!!!!!!!....Man I was so nervous, but I think it fixed the problem. All the post about front end problems here latley..Tip #1 DO NOT USED FRONT TIRES.
"Tires what wins a race, Cole!" Yeah, I've had a few cars that drove like ****...only to find out it ws a bad tire (or tires) causing the problem! My Olds would make a right turn if ya let go of the wheel...thought the front end was whacked. Found the right front tire flat one day and popped on the spare. Drove perfect! (The old right front tire had a m***ive belt shift and a big bubble in it!) Also, I've been tryin' ta tell people for years that the easiest and best BRAKE upgrade is better tires! You think about how drag slicks help ya launch...well, good rubber (especially up front!) has the same effect on stopping power! Glad ya survived your test drive and got the Beanie all Disco... ...so, when we gonna see some BURNOUT pics???
Burnouts YEAAAAAAAA I wanta do some pics and run some Vid. Ive gotta rent a friend with some beers to get a camera man! I do have a small vibration at about 15Mph take off and stopping... I bet its the short short drive shaft I welded up...

I think Fat Hack is on to something, I am wondering if a belt shift happened on those old tires. I remember something about a early radials having that problem where you have to run them on one side only or they might seperate belts, Not sure if that is still the case??

Well happy hour was a hit!!! GRINDER, NADS, NATE AND TIM came buy for beers and GB rides. We had to drag out the 4x4 steps to get Grinders broken legged *** in the bucket..But as he'll say it was worth it!!! Nads and I did parking lot burn outs!! It felt great my man GREAT!!!! I do need to put front shocks on soon for sure, but the high speed bounce is long gone....It had a little bounce with a 60mph hard braking stop... So who has the F1 mounts I need
Yeah its hell getting old. But I felt like the king of england as I climb the steps to the royal coach that awaited me.We were off as draglink hot lapped it around the block for a fast and windy ride .The GB-[TM] And you sould see the rear kickup on GB not for the faint of heart not a wimpy 6 to 8 inches of kickup mind you but a full 15 inches of kickup to get her down. Also has a nice seat in it which would be a good tech how to.GB- TM]-aka dragon wagon.
