hey mate they dunno what the hell a holden is - tell em its some sorta general motors chevy thingy. that'll make more sense! LOL yo
53 is right.....most have never heard of a Holden.....but if you want to talk a " Holden Maloo", I'm ready !
the above photo is not my hd holden but a fine example all the same i dont own i digi camera or have a photo of my car but i'll try to post a photo of my vehicle down the line soon and yeah these where made by general motors in australia between 1965 / ' 66 it was the first holden to offer a factory performance option called the " X2" . the X2 motor was a 179 cubic inch fitted with twin carbs factory headers a higher lift camshaft .... also the first holden to offer ball joint suspension and disc brakes as standard on the premier model and optional on all other models also it used and alternator as standard all previous models had used a genereator again a first for holden it ran outta the factory with either a three speed manual collum shift or 2 speed powerglide auto transmission my cars runs a standard a 179 straight six it had an X2 in it but the previous owner blew it up when i brought the car it had X2 on the rego sticker i was spewin' anyway it's a 3 on the tree i had disc brakes fitted on the front as it was running drums all round when i brought it... it's painted metallic blue and runs 13 " rims chromed reversed and deep dished 6 " all round ... white walls i've started on the interior with white tuck and roll bucket seats black carpet it will eventually be a white black blue and chrome interior ..
