My Son &I have been talking about building something cool since his early teens he is now 19 and doing the 2nd year of his mechanics apprenticeship after a long chat with bloke about his model A roadster at the annual swap meet in our local town we came away inspired.Over lunch we searched eBay and some cl***ified sites only one add caught our eye(and budget) sent off an email to the seller after a couple of days and no response I fingered it must be sold and forgot about it .2 months later my son came across the add again and sent another message the bloke had just comeback from overseas .Next thing I know I'm heading down to the city with my mates car trailer and arriving back at half past one in the morning explaining to my wife that the pile of stuff on the trailer is going to be a really cool hot rod.

What I came home with was a 28 frame that has been boxed with a dropped I beam front end kit sort of welded in and the back end hacked up with some sort of attempt to install a 4 link 8 3/4" discbrake rear end out of a 351 powered Falcon along with a steering box and brake booster and a gl*** flop body with detachable hard top.

I came across a 351 Cleveland at a good price and plan to fit a blower off a 6V71 diesel I've had kicking around I the shed for 20 years. We will fabricate manifold snout etc leaning towards a tripple v belt drive .Im still looking for a top loader 4sp so we can mock up the ch***is . I will post some pictures when I work out how
