The names John (Chopper) Katsanis, and I've got a problem, I can't get Hot Rodding out of my system . A few here would know me, especially those from Down Under, but for the multitude that don't I'd like to introduce myself. Been into hot rods and kustoms since I was knee high to a grasshopper (way back in the 50's) and based my life around my love for kewl cars. After kickin' around for a while learning different motor trades, me and my brothers established one of the largest panel shops and smash towing services in the country, and of course our after hours were spent working on our hot rods. Eventually we sold that bussiness and I started another body shop and our John's Rod & Custom emporium to enable local rodders to source hard to get products. My wife Tina (whom we lost in 2001) and I founded Kustoms Of Australia and started promoting the best loved rod & kustom events in Australia, and now my sons and I keep busy living and breathing hot rods and kustoms. We manufacture some performance and dress items for Y-blocks & flatheads, and still build a few cars for customers, as well as putting together some hot engines for selected clients. I don't like to drive a late model, and my regular daily driver is one of my hot rods or kustoms. Well, that's enough of my drivel... although I haven't posted here since 2001 I have been lurkin, and I reckon' it's one of the best forums in the world! Chopper
