I got this TH200 R4 with a stuck shifter arm, took of the pan today and it looks like on the inside of the arm is a dented cam with attached to that a rod that looks like it's supposed to slide in and out of...another part (valve body?), anyway instead of sliding in and out, it kinda wiggels up and down when I try to move the shift arm. Seems to me that's the problem, anybody have an idea of what the solution might be?
sounds like the valve body bore is worn out. try to find one at a junkyard and see what it feels like. take the pan off the junker and compare to what you've got. check a few if you can. jerry
