Have lurked at this site several times over the years. Some of my modeling friends have joined to post on the Sunday models thread. I'm 72, live on the Gulf coast of Florida for the last 10 years, retiring here from the RV industry in northern Indiana where I was a fibergl*** and paint repairman. Been an armchair hotrodder from my teens. Picked up an old 63 Ford F-100 junker about 5 years ago and spent almost 3 years turning it into a driveable beater. Call it the "Ol Foge". Changed the Ford emblem on the front under the hood to a Dodge. Generates some interesting conversation. Running a stock 302 w/ Edelbrock induction. I love to modify plastic models and have a healthy preference for radical old style hotrods. I'm an avid distainer of Boyd, billit, and 'gold chainers'. Thinking about taking the 'Ol Foge to Don Garlitz' Billit proof meet next month. Only about 30 miles away. Have to leave now, for my morning 'cons***utional'.
