Your truck is amazing. The interior looks as beautiful as the exterior.

im simply amazed with what you guys accomplished in less than a year after seeing it LSR, cant wait to see it returned to its former glory

As well as The Lonestar Roundup, The Ft Worth Indoor Car Show, The DFW Goodguys, Santa Maria(old Paso), Longbeach CA for the Showcase of Kustoms, The Columbus Ohio Goodguys, The Detroit Autorama, KKOA Salina Kansas and a few other that I cant think of off the top of my head.

I am still waiting on a complete list. I will post it when I get the final copy.

 

Just wanted to say that I ran into a couple guys from Hatfield Restorations over buy the H&H booth on Saturday, and they were great to chat with...

What a nice guy Gene is. At the GNRS I asked him if I could take a picture of him. He excused himself from his friends, walked over to me and told me that he'd only do it if I were in it with him. What a humble and cool guy.

So did the truck win any awards at the recent show?

Yes it did. It won the Best in Class. It was entered in the Radical Early Custom Truck category. Came with a 3 foot trophy and everything.


The cool thing is that when we showed it in California it was the 50th anniversary, almost to the week, of when Gene showed it for the first time and won the SAME AWARD!!

How is that for cooooool!

 

That is very cool. Congrats to all of you. I know you've worked hard and fast but still kept the integrity of the truck. You should be very, very proud. I am so glad I talked Dad into selling it to Hatfield. Otherwise it would still be sitting in the barn waiting for someone to do something about it and I don't think anyone else would have done such a great job [although I'm still getting used to the gold!]. I was hoping there would be a show a little closer to Oregon, but maybe we can make it to Fresno.
