Event Coverage Gene Winfield

This was brought to my attention in another thread, looks as so weird bs went down.

 

what the hell is happening to one of the great customizers ? I saw this same post. It seems as though there must be a squatter living on Gene’s property and will not leave. That is total bullshit what he is doing to Gene.
Is there anybody close to Winfields that might be able to help him ?

There are people on Facebook saying very interesting stuff that were close to Gene and they can not talk to him anymore. If true it is sad, but he is to be a Guest Speaker at SEMA this year with 6 other Custom Car builders.

 

Don't create drama, folks.

 

I sure hope there are good people around Gene who have his best interests at heart and can protect him from those who don't.

 

Jeez, I hope Gene is ok. Elder abuse is intolerable.

 

Didn't see an auction but there were tons of cars and people there. Live band, complete access to the property. I was actually able to meet the man. Cross that one off my bucket list! He came up to me to shake my hand! I was impressed! Couldn't really talk much cuz 'the girl', I'll call her his handler, hustled him off saying she had to get him out of the sun which actually made perfect sense. It was warm. So, the gathering happened, just not sure about the auction. I stayed for a few hours then headed off towards San Diego. Had a great time!

 

Gene, top notch cars and paint and nearly always a lady or two on his arm. Learn from this go and do like Gene.
