    hey guys,

got the whole mess back together in fine shape and im stuck one one last bolt :p

the two bolts that hold the back end plate on is whats giving me problems. i got one in just fine and the other just will not catch, it seems like i need to stick something in there towards the thread end and leverage it in but that seems like id just end up breaking something.

    anybody got anyideas?

the bolts looked the same length to me when i puleed them out so i dont think its something like ones for one hole and ones for the other but ive been wrong before

    any ideas?

take the other bolt out, and try it in the hole that you're having trouble with.

Epoxey a nail to the end of the bolt (smaller in diameter than the bolt) so it sticks through the end plate so you can position the bolt to the end plate hole. Just make sure no epoxey on the threads.

These are the long bolts holding the gennie together? - Pull the back plate off and make sure you are not fouling or caught up with any of the brush leads when inserting the bolts. When you have it back together motor it up on a 12 v battery just to check its OK.
