I'm putting a new ch***is under my dad's roadster. It was last updated in the 90's when a Gennie Shifter shift and parking brake ***embly were installed. They both seem well-made and I intend to use them -- but I need the bracket (with adjusters) to remount the parking brake cable in the new build.

Seemed pretty straight forward. I'm aware of the ups and downs Gennie has gone through -- but when I looked them up they have an 800 number, a local number, and an eMail contact form on their website. None of which anyone responds to.

Are they history? Any of you CO guys know whats up? Thanks

I’ve talked to them on the phone and by email within the last 6 months and I ordered a shifter for my C4.
Once I placed my order they shipped it to me promptly and it looks good.

I’ve also been able to contact them through Facebook

I’m glad to hear this! I would like another Gennie Shifter for my GM 350 trans. I’ll look them up!

Just got off the phone with Bob at Gennie Shifter. Great guy, they were happy to help, and my part is on the way. Their little Low Line parking brake is well-designed, compact and straight-forward to install, so I wanted to keep it in my dad's car. So...my question has been answered. Gennie Shifter is alive and well.

Good choice, I bought one for my C4 and with minimum effort I mounted it using my old Lokar mounting hardware.
The gated shift pattern is a huge improvement over the stupid Lokar push ****on arrangement.
