Well, in a pretty quick Ford anyway.

Yes, the pipeline gods have called again. I will be going to Wrens, GA on Nov. 28. and will be there for a couple months. I didn't know if anyone on here is in that area or somewhere close by. Most likly I will only have Sundays off, if even that day, but if so I could mess around Saturday nights. Let me know.

I think my brother is going too, and he is kicking around the idea of me towing his 30 tudor with my ford, so we might have 2 hot rods around there.

I will be missing the up coming X-mas party with my Chupacabra bros, which sucks. I almost turned down the job because of that, but the money is good and I don't have any now so, bye

A '50 Ford gets pulled over on a Georgia country road going about 85. The Georgia Highway Patrolman says,

"Son, nobody goes through Georgia that fast!"

The driver of the old Ford replies,

    "Sherman did, sir."

Von T, Deliverence was filmed in western North Carolina, up around the college where I went to school, and later worked for ten years or so. The river scenes were filmed on the Chattooga, just as it flows out of NC, and becomes the border between GA & SC.

The scene at the end of the movie where the deputy is driving the two survivors through the deserted town that is soon to be flooded was filmed on the back street of Sylva, the county seat of Jackson Co.; they go right past Cope's, where I used to buy beer and hot rod magazines.

The train wreck scene in the remake of The Fugitive and much of Nell were also filmed in the same area.

Welcome to Ga. I don't know where Wrens is, but there is a cruise in at the outlet mall in Byron(exit 149, I-75) on the first saturday night of every month. Should be a good turn out if it's not cold.

I heard Shotz moved to Macon, but I don't know for sure.

You should leave Texas a few days early and go to Daytona............Big doins at the Speedway.....Turkey Rod Run . It is number 26 or 27. Fills up the whole inside of a 2.5 mile track.

Cool, thanks for the info. I was wondering if there was going to be anything to do, car wise.
I don't know if I will be able to leave any sooner than I am already but that sounds like a good time in Florida.

    thanks

I don't really go to the car shows around here (FT Worth), but I do go to the big ones (pistons & paint, sherman, and the ones in austin)

Pete Ousley? Hells bells I thougt his name was Shot or Shotz....haha.

Well what do you expect. I only met him once..... [IMG]
Ask him if he still has that T-shirt I painted for him?

I am sure I will see all you cats sometime next summer, Cause I think the Accelerators will probably hang with the Greazy Hubcapz in the near future...... [IMG]

    Keep on rockin' fellas.

And if you Texas fellas want to hang out up here in Tennessee, just get in contact with Ratster and the Greazy Hubcapz. They are all around the Maryville Tn area. The Greazys rock...
