History German Teaching Model...wish Ford did it!

    I found this 1962 German teaching model at an antique show today. I've always p***ed on them before because of the price, but bit the bullet today and bought it. The car is about 3' long, super detailed and mostly cast & machined metal with some plastic parts. Everything works as a real car would, but a '32 ch***is would be so much cooler!
    Anybody know anything about them?

    Wow cool find! and your right a 32 Ford would be even cooler.

    i saw two at hershey aaca swap this week. they were in the 3000.00 price range. big $$$$ but neat.

    WOW! That's extremely COOL, Larry. I find the rag joint universals in the driveline interesting. Very neat piece.....Don.

    nice find Larry... I also saw the same model in the choc field at Hershey...budget wouldn't allow it lol... but they are super cool.

    You still see these in the windows of a lot of driving schools in Germany.

    Wow...I dated a German teaching model named Elsa once...all her working parts moved, too!:D
