Hot Rods Get my facts straight on windshield frames

    Having big debates with alot of guys here and locally. Will a 1937 Chevy truck windshield frame fit a 1936 Chevy truck (low roof)?

    No Dude, unless you want to change the upper w/s opening to match the 37/38 w/s frame.

    The 36 Chev/GMC low cab w/s frame is different than the 37/38 Chev/GMC w/s frame. One of the differences in the 36 vs 37/38 cabs is the top of the w/s opening on the 36 is almost straight; where the 37/38 has some curve in it and is about 7/8" higher in the middle.
