Bump for the day crowd...thoughts?

 

I looked at the pictures for a bit to see if I could tell anything that might help you... I don't think the springs being different or a bit higher should be a problem. They appear to be approximately the same level as the ones on the old disc. Hard to tell from pics over the web tho. Might want to measure them. I wonder about the splined collar. There is a length difference from the old one to the new one. Might not be a big deal but the old one looks hardier to me.

 

ever noticed the shifter on a cobra? it's the mustang unit with the lever turned around.
