anyone ever Z'd a 58-60ish X frame chevy?? how about raising the tunnel for the driveshaft..does the carrier bearing get lifted up to or kept in the original spot?? i want the rockers 2" off the ground..
I just cut 2 coils of of my car all they way around and it sets that high now and I've been driving my car around for 5 or so years like that.
The lowrider guys have been slamming X frame Chevys for a long time now. They're pretty good at it. A lot them use telescoping drive lines with heavy duty center bearings on their heaps. Check your with local drive line shop or look at the lowrider magazines for companies that specialize in that sort of thing.
