67 yrs old and a car nut all my life but raising a family slowed it down a bit. I've done 50s style custom work in the 60s-70s. Engine swaps, painting, a bit of air brushing and now trying to blow the carbon out of the old valve and jump back in. I'm from St. Louis Mo. born and raised. Married 45 yrs to a great gal. Three great kids and 5 fantastic gkids. My son is also into cars and now has my 55 Chevy that we've worked on together. I've had it since he was 3-4 yrs old. We put in a 350/350. Disk brakes in the front. Now that he has it at his house he's putting disks on the back and has the body off the ch***is for some serious suspension work. He's a teacher at a trade college (Ranken Tech) and can master most anything he sets his mind to. I'm looking into a 39 ford pickup. If that doesn't pan out it will be some sort of old truck. Gonna do a Chevy s10 or Ford Ranger ch***is swap on whatever I wind up with. Gotta keep up with this new fangled stuff!
