After being separated for a couple years, I was thrilled to bring up the pickup bed to be back together with its cab and chassis.

While my son and I got the box on my trailer to make the short trip, I hadn’t figured how to store it in the working garage for clean up and getting it ready for paint. So it sat on the trailer for a few days for me to figure this out.
The rest is kind of a Funny story as follows: I trailer the box up to the working garage and rolled the cab and chassis out into the driveway. The plan was to lift the body off the trailer and on to an old painters scaffold. A neighbor driving by stopped and asked if I wanted some help. I gladly accepted his offer.

We raised and blocked the body up to a point that was not high enough but as high as I felt the blocks could safely get me. I again needed some time to figure my next move, thanked my neighbor and sent him back on his way.

After lunch, I went back out to ponder the situation and another neighbor appeared. We hoisted up the box some more via the chain fall, tipped up the body to get it in the scaffold and slid it fully on. Kinda like being on a storage rack. Mission accomplished!

    Thank you neighbors!
