i am ready to order my x-mas gift and i am looking for place to order from that you guy's had good experience and quality parts. i was only aware of one place, but 2000$ of parts (engine kit , valves, springs, cam) and even a valley cover for now. i just want to spend my money wisely.
My friend uses Hot Heads ... go here http://www.hothemiheads.com/ The owner is friendly, knowledgeable and has a HEMI powered 32 Ford himself. HEMI parts are expensive ... everywhere
is it possible that PAW is closed for holidays? cant seem to find info on there site., haven't ordered from them in 10years, wonder if they have complete kit's like hotheads?
PAW is moving and closed until after the first of the year. Found out when I tried to order some parts last week.
I have not looked in a while but seems like PAW had only chrysler stuff? What brand are you working on? Hot Heads is a sure thing for all 3 brands.
it is a 1956 354 chrysler industriel hemi, all 3 of my hemi are chrysler, 2 -331 54 and 55 new-yorkers, i was searching for a cathaloge from paw to compare with hotheads but can't seem to find.
I second Gary, 73RR, from quality Engineered Components. He will make up any kit that you want for your application. Send him a PM or call him. 888-436-4727 or 541-617-0613. http://www.qualityengineeredcomponents.com/ Gary is fantastic to work with!
I would purcase my parts from Hot Heads, but I would not get his oil pump! There are too many posts about the shaft breaking as mind did, after only 45 min. of engine time. Do a search on this subject.
Thanks for the nice words guys! Much appreciated. No, I don't have 'kits'. I will sell you exactly what you want/need and put it in one box if you like, then you can label it as you wish. I don't bother with aluminum pieces like front covers and valley covers (call O'Brien's) and I don't use shiverlay water pumps and 340 oil pumps so perhaps my focus is a bit narrow. I can rebuild your stock water pump and regrind your stock cam (just like 50 other shops, the difference will be in the actual profile and the cost), sometimes an oil pump can be rebuilt but I firmly believe in the M50. I try to keep rebuilt rocker ***emblies on the shelf and adjustable pushrods are made to order. I can offer the usual parts just like everyone else, the only real difference will be in the cost. Best bet for anyone contemplating a rebuild is to make up a list of what you need and ask your suppliers for pricing, either as individual parts or as a package. My shop will be closed from Dec 28 through Jan 20, going to Cabo... so if you are in a hurry... Merry Christmas to all!! Gary
Stay away from PAW!!! Parts Always Wrong The few times I went there the customer service was very poor.
