So this is what i used to get rid of the treadle vac system on our 1954 lincoln capri

cost about 200 bucks total. While we were at it replaced the hose from the master to the distribution block as well as the bleeder screws.

yes we drive this car! The brakes work killer with this setup. The brake pedal linkage MUST be altered for this to work. We went with a mechanical brake switch after this install.

This install is ***uming all of your other brake components are in working condition. This will not cure your warped drums.

    Ebay

    Summit

autozone adapter for new MC to original brake hose PN: BLF-22C

also needed just a foot of 1/2 inch vacuum hose to connect booster to original vacuum port on motor.

You’ll need to get out the drill and angle grinder for this job.

Remove treadle vac using instructions in shop manual

Remove studs from brackets that come with new master.

Fit to firewall, a new hole will need to be drilled in the brackets to mount them where old treadle vac bracket was.

View from under dash. Making a mark from inside to drill out the new brakets. We will reuse the treadle vac mounting bolts that go into the square studs.

Inside car remove secondary treadle vac brake pedal linkages. They are held together with cotter pins and a few nuts and bolts. This needs to be done because they prevent a good brake pedal ratio to the new booster. If you skip the brake pedal alteration your brakes will NOT work.

Remove brake pedal and remove stud holding main pedal arm to secondary pedal arm

Ideally the entire secondary arm is removed.

Fit summit kit clevis to threaded rod coming out of booster.

Reinstall brake pedal and attach to clevis

Bleed brakes and then fit mechanical brake light switch.

It's very difficult to fit anything down low on the firewall where many GM, Packard, etc, mounted them.
It would be very cool if this would fit.
That TV core is worth at least a C note.
