GG Chicagoland Meet & Greet this Saturday......

...in the Homebuilt/Suede & Chrome area at 12 noon-ish.

Of course since it's a first time event there I'm not exactly sure where this area is going to be BUT most of us should be able to find it.

Look for OldBobSign's red '32 roadster and we'll try to park it by a few other HAMB folks in that area. I'm sure he'll have a neat little "something" for everyone and probably a Meet & Greet banner too.

Choices choices-Fall Jefferson is this weekend also and I would love to go check out some local rides but I think I had better build up my stock pile of goodies to keep me busy when the snow flies. Just have to wait till the Pileup for some more show action-Drew

Wow Denise I was not expecting you to come to GG Chicagoland. I hope to see you this saturday if everything goes according to my evil plan. And yes as far as I know I will have the truck!

 

Alas I will be in the land of clam chowder and vodka cranberries...

 

The plan was before for me to take Dad's '48 ford Coupe which he has up for sale BUT since I can't drive (my right leg is in a cast) I will be riding with Dad in his black and silver '56 Olds. All of this is contingent upon finding a wheelchair I can borrow for the weekend. My armpits are killing me and my good leg starts aching after too long on it. I can't see myself hobbling around all weekend on crutches.....I need to be pushed.

I am really looking forward to seeing the truck in person....and you again of course. I really enjoyed chatting with your folks last weekend, they are good people. Looking forward to seeing them again as well.

 

That bums me out. I guess our paths will cross next month at the HCP.

Well, the festivities are up in Muskegon, so, I hadn't thought about it but maybe Friday,,,, Many of us are doing an overnighter Saturday, so it would make Sunday kinda difficult... We'll see about Friday though.

 

Thats probably like a dozen HAMB guys that I thought were going that aren't now....bummed
