Well, as per usual Puyallup was a great event. Lots of street rods and muscle cars, but plenty of traditional stuff coming out of the woodwork. I took some time Friday to walk around while it was sorta "quiet" and snap some pics. The boyfriends sedan with my roadster... I've been toying with the idear of an aluminum hood on my roadster... hmm... It was longroof central! My buddy Dave had his '56 Nomad there. He's been busting ass getting this thing roadworthy. It's starting to come together. HAMBer Boones(Farm) More HAMBers, Steve (Hotware) with his 5w and Rich (Tri-Deuce-Dicky). The pride of Port Townsend, these two both spent some time trophy huntin'. Then Steve missed out on the ultimate street rod when they pulled his ticket. I think this might be my future ex-husband. LOL. I'm pretty sure he's a HAMBer. Either way, must be a good guy because he bought me one of Laurie's Canada Customs shirts! Joyce got her RPU back on the road and she sure hasn't missed a step! Nice to see the bunny is now a female!
Jack & Sue White have a fleet of cool old cars. However, I think this one maybe the coolest, not just because how it looks. Sue actually chopped it! Jack had to help her hold the sawzall up cuz she's a bitty thing, but she got it done! Larry Foss's wifes car and one of my absolute favorites. Can't go wrong with this one. The highlight of Friday was having the roadster striped by Don King. He's been pinstriping in the NW for about 50 years. I wasn't sure how many lines my heart could take, but he put just enough on there. They'll of course be gone when I tear down for paint this winter, but it sure polished the car off for now.
"I think this might be my future ex-husband. LOL. I'm pretty sure he's a HAMBer. Either way, must be a good guy because he bought me one of Laurie's Canada Customs shirts!" Thanks, nice pics Brandi, and yes he is a HAMB'er and is single LOL. He goes by PAUCHO on here.
Joyce's she-bunny is HOT!!! I couldn't stop looking at it, and my wife was home 300 miles away. YeeHaw! Thanks for posting Brandi. Now I gotta get off my arse and post my pics.....
I took this Saturday morning when you pulled in. I wish I had introduced myself (some of us Kanadian fellas are badder than others). Nice car, thanks for the pics.
Great photos, the blue 32, 5 window is sick and to think years ago nobody wanted to do 5 windows every one wanted a 3 window until they drove one for a while an realized that you sure can see better out of a 5 window....
I was just thinking about that the other night. I NEVER used to like a 5w, but lately, I'm thinking they are pretty danged cool, especially with the fenders left on.
Don King usually stripes at the Unique Tin car show in Longview if anyone is interested. Not sure the date of the show.
I think this might be my future ex-husband. LOL. I'm pretty sure he's a HAMBer. Either way, must be a good guy because he bought me one of Laurie's Canada Customs shirts! That Paucho guy sure is a chick magnet.........
It's not easy being me.......I just keep giving and giving.....lol Thanks for the pix Brandi....nice to meet ya.....
