My buddy Mike (in the 56 Chev PU) photo..took more and better pics. I was too busy taliking to the owners and builders..looking more at details on the projects..than the entire car.

    Thanks for all the photos!...

Wow, any more info on this one?? Old build, new?
Kind of looks like a cross between the Singapore Sling and Ala Kart

  6. That's a new build. Craig Smith, the guy in the grey shirt in the picture built it over the last four years. He had done mini-trucks and a few customs like his 63 Buick that was in the readers rides section of Rod and Custom a few years ago. He also started a company called Shrunken Choppers building minichoppers. This is his first from scratch hot rod.

it was a great time, too much to see.

Glen's sedan was neat to see, Dave's coupe is incredible, the Potete / Lane delivery is amazing. The looks on people's faces while the first see Craig's roadster are priceless.

He told my mother in law that it is the "liberace" car... whe thought it was a great name for it.

That ala Kart inspired rod was absolutely badass. probably my favorite of the show. The paint job up close was a beauty.

The camaro in the top 12 was amazing too. Did anyone get a pic of the interior of that thing? 10/10 on that car.

  9. The problem going to these shows is that it makes what I built look like shit..........Know what I measn?

The Scottsdale GG's show always seems to bring in the 'cream', from all over the country...and that 'cream 'raises the bar on quality quite high.
