I'm glad to hear that,John always has something interesting going on,I enjoy his take on things. I was in the hospital 4 days last year with an infection in my right arm and off work for a month, but no blood transfusion, his sounds way more serious...
Hey Roger, This is Mike, used to live down in Parker and finally got moved to Kansas. If you get to see John, tell him i said hi and am looking forward to seeing some more of his early Chevy builds. Had a good time in a few of his garage bs sessions. Mike
AWWW YOU GUYS MAKE ME BLUSH. anyway I went in on the 20th of may and I just got out today..YEEHAW It seem my arthritus shut down my ability to coagulate my blood and made me a bleeder for some reason? pretty rare they say, and with about 24 units of blood later and a bunch of other drugs I can't even pronounce they gave me a semi all clear to go home today. I have to use a walker until I get my strenth back, and I am not supposed to work on my projects in the garage for awhile even if I could. But I guess it could have been so much worse and I am glad to be back on the HAMB with my friends. Thanks everyone for your concern. John
Good to hear it, John! Hope to see you hangin' around at the Gunnison show this year (and the after party)... Chris
Doing great guys. went in tuesday for a blood check, and it seems I am making my own blood again, and all is going as planned. Too bad though with all the transfusions I got while in the hospital the nurses found me singing doowop in my bed late one night. HMMM maybe I got some blood from a singer. I could never carry a tune before. John
