So I recieved on trade for an old shifter today,a 7-foot tall spark plug, made out of fibergl***. This thing is soooo kool, but I have no idea what to do with it yet. It`s leaning up next to my garage door right now.

Anyone ever seen another one before or know where or what it was made for???

    Pic will be taken asap.

You don't know what to do with it? Build an 84ft tall motor and find 7 more plugs!

My shop teacher had a nice 3 ft long one. Should a grabbed it. I know where a huge fibergl*** Firestone tire is but i think the spark plug is cooler

Mount it on the roof, with the threaded end and electrode sticking thru the rafters - perhaps so you can see it on the inside? Put a light in it for the evenings. Don't forget to put a big grounding rod on it, or the electrode just might fire some day when you least expect it.

Whatever... if you leave it where it is... it will disappear. Gary

Here is a rare photo of a large spark plug from outer space that was seen in North Dakota back in the 1940's.
The "plug" abducted the driver of that car and he was missing for over two weeks.
Even as an old man today, that fellow still talks about the probing he got. He still sits on a large pillow.

Strap it down to the flatbed of a RPU and use it as a fuel tank? Or just carry it as cargo... would be a cool conversation piece.

thats actually a real cool idea. I was thinking it sort of reminded me of the lamp from "a christmas story". Its too cool to p*** up, but what do you do with it once you have it! haha

"Thread" it into the bed of a pickup... or the decklid on a car. Run a wire to it and tell everyone... "I'm running a single cylinder engine.. but its a big *** cylinder!"
