    Hi All,

H.A.M.B Newbie from New Zealand - the other half of 'Downunder'. I have been contemplating the idea of a project car for some time now. Recently I had the opportunity to purchase a rare (in our country) beauty and make a foray into the world of Cl***ic Cars. I hope I haven't bitten of more than I can chew!

I am the proud owner of a 1956 De Soto Diplomat Deluxe - this is a RHD Canadian export version of the Plymouth Savoy P28-2 I believe. It should keep me busy for at least a couple of years...

And yes, it seems a previous owner with Chevy tendencies decided to add the stripe.

Welcome! Nice DeSoto. Rare in my country too. Mine is unique in the Netherlands.
    Happy wrenching

    Leaking oil? No, sweating horsepower
