So my wife and I love the 50's and wanted to do my son's nursery in a vintage theme without going over the top. We didn't want to buy anything outta the bag and just slap it up. So we put this together. We loved the houndstooth fabric in old car interiors, and used that as a starting point. Then we also felt that all the changing tables were not for us, so we made one using a waterloo workbench with a new work surface on it. My favorite part is the early 1960's Hot Rod Magazines up on the walls. I have some more to do, I still have to hang the hubcaps on the walls, and get some more small car parts for the cube shelves.

The best part is that he loves it!

Any other ideas? Or what have you done for your kids rooms?
