Hello everyone, I have been racin' stock and superstock since the late sixties, most notably with my 65 Chevelle Malibu SS conv 327-250 in the late 70s and then with many customer cars thru the 80s. I was the very first racer at the Sanair gate when it opened in 1970 with my N/S 58 Ford flat-towed by my 52 Ford PUP, complete with overheating flathead. I quickly put that car back on the street and became everyone's mechanic instead, working for free on all manner of record-holders and event winners (Hemis, 426 wedge, 340, 428, SB, BB) from across NA. Great learning experience. Started Zeke's in 73 and SLP Canada with Ed Hamburger in 93. Now I'm Manager, Service, Restoration and Performance for John Scotti Muscle cars and Classics. Enough for now. Hey Terry, I Grew up in Lachine and I was often at your Shop in the late 70's. Check me out as I have a 57 Chevy I'm sure you'll recognize that i'm trying to get some Pic's of or any Info from back in the day, you'd be my Best Hope which would be Great. Nice to see you on this Site.
