Customs Glamor shots of my chopped '53 Chevy

Two inches out of the windshield posts (about 1 3/4" vertical drop), 2 inches vertical out of the C-pillars, and I pancake-sectioned the roof skin about an inch at the front tapering to maybe 3 inches toward the rear.

I am tall (6'3") so I couldn't go much lower and maintain visibility. Now that I know more than I did then I'm going to chop my '51 coupe a bit more but also lower the floor pan to keep the headroom and eyeline.

 

Nice what year caps are those.

 

They are '51 or '52 Imperial. Maybe '53? There are minor year differences and I never investigated enough to figure out which ones I have.
