   How much smaller than the windshield opening should the gl*** be to account for the gasket?
   
   It's a 53 Ford.

   The gl*** guy at Salina said 1/4" I haven't measured but if you look at the gasket, you might find 1/8" in the bottom between the gl*** and the metal.
