I'm useing a foam pad on a DA.......I also tryed doing it by hand and can't seem to get the swirles out........The glass itself is't too bad, it's just to the point that all the little scratches make a HALO when driveing at night. It's scary at times depending how the light hits it.

I know I'm not going to get any large scratches out but I have to make it better.

I would replace the glass if I could find it for a good price, but have you priced 1960 Elcamino Glass?........The shit is pricy.

I'm only asking here because I haven't been able to find anyone willing to touch my windshild.

Iv'e tryed a couple place and they both said about the same thing.......because there dings in the windshild they don't want to be liabale for cracking the glass, I have had the dings repaired but they said no go........does this sound like shit or are they playing it safe?

Get a new W/S. Polishing will just make it worse. I've tryed on navy boats that have heated wires in them (about $4000 each). If you can feel it with yer fingernail its too deep to polish. You may disagree but in 35 years I've had no luck, maybe I'm just doin it wrong!............OLDBEET

  9. 41 years and I've had less luck than OLD BEET!! there is a new process that amazed me. my son bought the system and for about $600 he can get that looking good. Buy a new one it's cheaper and better
