any advice on installing the rear gl*** in a 51 chevy pickup? got all the rest of gl*** insalled w/o to much problem, but the rear gl*** is a bear. any advice? thanks 51 pickemup
If yer using the stock type seal its easy. I call it lace lock. Install the seal in the body. Now install the gl*** in the seal. Now the tuff part (if you don't have THE tool) They make a heart shaped tool for this. Looks like a heart with a hole in it that the center piece fits in. Lots of lube and it goes rite in. But hard to do without. A dull screwdriver can be used. Check the local gl*** shop for an oldtimer with tools, he can help you!......OLDBEET
