well i got the ol gal painted last night, cant say that i love it! it layed out ok, but i dont like the way it looks at the moment. but im sure i will when its done. the whole idea was to mimic andy southards 58 chevy, with the exception of being satin black. it just still needs way to much work to be shiney. but it will be someday after its chopped. heres a few pics of what im going after, and with similar colors. wish i had better pics

I don't see any room for scallops with all that chrome, maybe some clams. :D Can't wait to see it.

All that car needs is some subtle pinstripping. I would lose the scallop idea.

the scallops will be laid out like they were before on the white, except a few more. before it was just the roof, fender to door area, and a small one on eack quarter. now it will also be on the top of the fender and front of the hood, and deck lid also. im using a true candy blue mist over silver base, outlined with white striping

I guess you don't understand...a Paras car is not a Paras car without scallops or flames!!

Funny you say that...I was just looking at some old pics of the Olds with those scallops and was going to recommend going with that old design you had cause it looked good. So get at it fella!!:D
