Just ordered a glasspack for my Chevy. Don't know which direction to install it. If I look inside, I see all the small "louvers" (don't know what else to call them). They all open one direction. Do I flow the exhaust into the louvers, or over them from the opposite side? Thanks.

I've always been told to flow them into the louvers to get them to act like a muffler, over the louvers to make them act like expensive straight pipe.

There should be an arrow to show you which way they flow...... ------> :D

Depending what kind of sound your after. Will be mellow if directed into the louver, louder if you go over them.

Gotta give me a little more credit than that. No arrow, that's why I'm asking.

Just like asking someone which way did he go ? They use both arms and point out he went thata way < >. Into louvers is the way it goes.

I’ve always run them over the louvers for less back pressure and more music…:)

I put one on the right side with the louvers facing forward and one on the left with them facing backward, my car pulled to the right under heavy acceleration.
