Wow! Wished I was there! Love seeing all the old cars, remember some of them from when I was there a few times a couple of years ago! Always love seeing the “ Sk airlane” run….super fast. Bones
Just got home, had a great day. Thought the turnout was a lot better than last year. Weather was a lot better too. Larry
Lol James, I turned her in to a Road Warrier. Took her on a 600-mile round trip cruise up to Back to the 50s in Saint Paul. But if I change out the highway gear for the 4.10s I still think I can get within a bird's eye view of the Saltshakers taillights as it crosses the finish line. How's the Poncho coming. Larry
No work on Geronimo as of late been busy on other projects. Thinking about a 60 day quest to get the shaker ready for an event the end of October up in Iowa.
Thanks for posting the awsome pictures. It's nice to see my Valiant in pictures and not in the background. I think there was a decent turnout this year, and the racing seemed to be run better by the track staff. The calls to the staging lanes were more frequent, and more cl***es were ready to roll. from a spectator point of view, this makes for much less down time. With the burnout contest and the gambler bracket race were new additions this year, it seems to me the track is trying to improve this event. I welcome the additions, but hope they don't change to much next year. As with every year, I had a blast along with my friends and family.
