This is a GM OEM item with new clutches (10 clutch packs) and is ready to go. It will fit all Chevy 1955 through 1964 rear ends with 4:11 and higher gears. Per the attached photo Arma Steel was GM's central foundry and operated under the name of Saginaw Malleable Iron Plant.
Still available. This unit is in excellent condition, especially when compared to the same unit for sale on the interweb.
Fits all 1955-1964 Chevy rears and utilizes the stock axles. Doesn't matter if the engine is a six or eight cylinder.
