I am shop cleaning and have 2 wheels that I saved long ago. I forget what they are from, but I was thinking Pontiac/Olds from mid 60s. I know they were odd because they are surely 5 on 4 1/2" bolt pattern. 15" by 5" wide. On the wheel fronts are GM, PH, NT. I know I had a 66 Tempest here and a 63 F85 years ago. Anyone know what these are from? Dang old age, CRS anymore.

maybe 61-63 Tempest? The F85 was 4 lug?

  3. Google says 61 to 63 tempest. After that, they change to 4.75.

How are you measuring the bolt pattern? Going center-to-center, skipping one hole on a GM 4 3/4" bolt pattern wheel it will measure about 4 1/2". You go from center of one, skip one hole and measure to the far side of the 2nd hole. If you already knew this, please disregard and please don't take offense.

Yes, I am measuring it correctly. I was confused years back when I came across these wheels, knowing (supposedly) that GM was 4 3/4, not 4 1/2. I did find the wheels in my Hollander interchange book. 61-62 Tempest had 5 on 4 1/2, 15" by 4 1/2". 63 Tempest (only) was 5 on 4 1/2 and 15" by 5". So, they are 63 Tempest wheels. Thanks.
